Could life get any better for Betty White?
Eighty-eight year old White has seen a career resurgence with her recent co-starring role in the box office hit, "The Proposal" and her appearance in clever Snickers commercial, among other things.
She was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award early this year by the Screen Actors Guild and has been making the late night talk show curcuit, at the request of those shows, not for self-promotion.
Truthfully, this woman seems to not need to seek any further media promotion. A Facebook campaign landed her the hosting gig for the May 8, 2010 airing of "Saturday Night Live", and in June White will star in the TV Land original series, "Hot in Cleveland."
All of these accolades aren't without good reason. After all, this woman has one SIX emmy awards. She truly is an entertainment icon.
But of all this, the biggest honor has to be the new Betty White Hot Dog now being served at the world famous Pink's in Los Angeles.
White's speciality dog is a 'naked' hot dog. It has no toppings, no enhancements and that's just the way this classy lady wants it.
We should all be so lucky as to a live a life even half as good as the amazing Betty White.
At least we can enjoy the Betty White Hot Dog as we sit back and see what fabulous things will happen next for such a deserving lady.
